Farrans are reporting independently but are a trading division of Northstone (NI) Limited and a leading building and civil engineering contractor with over 80 years’ experience of delivering world-class projects across the UK and Ireland. We are a sister company of Tarmac and part of CRH, the global building materials business. Farrans are reporting independently, see structure in following sections of report. We have more than 650 people operating from offices in London, Belfast, and Edinburgh, with further site bases which connect our network. The projects we deliver have an important role in the everyday lives of people in the UK and Ireland. We build, we transform and we connect. Through intelligent, high quality engineering and construction solutions, we solve complex problems for our clients. Our team specialises in seven core sectors – Commercial, Living Spaces, Public Sector, Transportation, Water, Marine and Energy. We also offer a repurposing, refurbishment and interiors service through Fado. We are active on over 45 sites across the UK and Ireland, with contract values ranging from £5m to £300m. Making a positive difference to the communities in which we operate is our passion and we place social responsibility at the heart of every scheme.
