Toitū emission report on tablet screen

Toitū has published its latest emissions reporting for the July 2024 to June 2025 timeframe, demonstrating continued progress in measuring, managing and transparently sharing its climate impact.

As a signatory to the Climate Leaders Coalition, Toitū measures its greenhouse gas emissions annually and has its results independently verified — meeting equivalent requirements expected of Toitū Net Carbon Zero certified organisations.

The latest reporting shows meaningful emissions reductions against Toitū’s base year and highlights progress across its value chain, alongside ongoing improvements in data quality, methodology and transparency. It also outlines how the organisation is tracking against its science-aligned near‑term targets and preparing for longer‑term targets.

This year, Toitū developed a supplier‑specific emissions factor to help clients calculate emissions from its services, supporting stronger supply‑chain resilience and higher‑integrity carbon reporting. Our article "Why supplier‑specific emissions data is a strategic asset" explores why early investment pays off and how organisations can act now.

By publishing its emissions data and independent verification, Toitū continues to lead by example — showing how credible climate reporting supports better decision‑making, builds trust with stakeholders, and strengthens organisational resilience.
