Overview

OCS is a recognised leader in facilities management services, both locally and globally. With over 100 years of experience, we support a wide range of sectors, including aviation, commercial, education, government, public health and aged care, industrial and manufacturing, retail, and transportation. In May 2021, OCS NZ acquired 1M (1st Mechanical Limited and 1st Maintenance Limited) marking a strategic milestone in the OCS New Zealand transformation journey. As a well-regarded HVAC mechanical and maintenance service provider in Auckland, 1M brought technical expertise, a strong local market reputation and an established customer base in key sectors such as healthcare, education and commercial real estate. At the time, OCS Australia and New Zealand (OCS ANZ) were already market leaders in integrated soft services across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia servicing over 1,800 customers across 9,000 sites and our local NZ expertise is backed by a nationwide network of 25 branches, a workforce of more than 3,700 colleagues, and 74 franchisees across Aotearoa New Zealand. At OCS / 1M, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and supporting the wellbeing of our colleagues, communities, and customers. We hold ISO 14001 accreditation, the global environmental management standard, and actively monitor and manage our environmental footprint through a companywide policy and annual performance targets. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are a member of the Sustainable Business Council (SBC) and a signatory to the Climate Leaders Coalition (CLC). We take our responsibility to reduce greenhouse gas emissions seriously and integrate sustainability into our purchasing decisions. As members of the SBC and signatories to the CLC, we report annually on our progress as we work towards a lowemissions future that benefits businesses, communities, and the economy. We also support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which provide a global framework for addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges. These goals guide our approach as we continue to operate responsibly and drive positive change.
