Buchan Holdings Limited

Buchan Holdings Pty Ltd (Buchan) is an Australian based acclaimed global architecture, interior, master planning and brand-experience studio with distinction in retail, commercial, mixed-use, residential, hotels and hospitality. For 130 years, Buchan has created assets of enduring architectural quality and magnitude, worldwide. Buchan’s extensive portfolio spans boutique, intimate settings through to large-scale buildings and urban capes. Nine Buchan studios were operational during this reporting year, with approximately 143 staff across these studios (average full time equivalent staff across the FY24 period). For the purposes of GHG emissions inventories, Buchan operations are split into domestic (Australianbased) and international operations. The inventory outlined in this report covers Buchan's international operations, including the Dubai, Auckland and Christchurch studios. Buchan’s Australia based operations are covered by a separate inventory and include the Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Gold Coast studios. This separation has been conducted to enable GHG emissions reporting under two different certification schemes: the Toitū carbonreduce programme (i.e. this report) and the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard (refer https://www.climateactive.org.au/). The combination of these two inventories gives the total GHG emissions for Buchan Holdings Pty Ltd, there is no double counting of emissions between the inventories
