Entrada Travel Group

A privately owned company with two family-business shareholders, Entrada operates tourism and transport businesses in New Zealand and Australia. Currently employing over 300 permanent staff, and over 600 total staff, Entrada was significantly affected during 2020-2022 by the COVID pandemic: most operations were downsized or hibernated. With pandemic restrictions having largely ceased, Entrada is growing its operations back towards pre-pandemic levels. GHG emissions are significantly influenced by the diesel-burning coaches and vessels used within Entrada’s businesses. The ownership and operating models for the coach/vessel assets include: (1) Entrada-owned and operated, (2) operated on Entrada’s behalf by franchisees or contractors, and (3) local-government owned asset operated by Entrada on a contract basis.
