Field Systems Designs Limited

The company has already achieved ISO14001:2015 and previously attained CEMARS and is now striving to further enhance its pro-environmental credentials by rekindling our CEMARS accreditation and embark on the schemes to reduce carbon emissions, improve efficiencies and raise awareness over environmental issues.

One scheme immediately under review is to look at future initiatives in changing our current fleet of site vans to Electric Vans, when they reach end of life.

Our supply chain is regularly reviewing alternative sources of supply that have a positive impact on the environment, and we strive to use as much sustainable product as we possibly can within the current market restraints.

Among the aspects that we consider in our designs and services are the following key areas: embodied carbon and efficiency in energy use; materials use and efficient waste management; impacts on the local and wider environment; the effects of climate change; the overall lifetime cost of a project and improving the resilience.

In living up to these principles in our project delivery and project management, we will increase the resilience of built infrastructure.

We have installed measures in our office building such as presence-detector low energy lighting and an energy-efficient air conditioning system and benefited from 100% capital allowance under the government scheme to promote green expenditure.
