Established in 1995, Leighs has grown into a national, multi-million-dollar construction company with a record of delivering complex projects within unique environments, including a significant delivery portfolio of technical and live-environment projects. Leighs is governed by a board of directors; whose experience plays an integral role in our company’s growth and success. Our board members are approachable and care about the performance of individual projects and how this affects our clients. The Leighs board is made up of four independent directors and company owner, Anthony Leighs. Our organisation is divided into two distinct regions, North Island and South Island. Our South Island operations cover activities from Canterbury, and throughout the regional South. Our two regions report through to the general manager of construction, who reports to the chief executive officer. We have an office in Auckland and our registered head office is in Christchurch. Nationwide our employees total 297, with 167 staff based in Christchurch. Leighs is of a size where every project and customer matters to us.
