Milford Sound Tourism Limited

Milford Sound Tourism Limited (MSTL) is the tourism infrastructure provider in Milford Sound, located in Fiordland National Park. MSTL own and operate the harbour, wharves, visitor terminal and parking, as well as operating the wastewater, rubbish and recycling services. MSTL is funded by the Milford Sound Passenger Levy which is collected as a portion of boat cruise tickets sold. MSTL employ up to 30 people in the summer season, and also provide accommodation in Milford for most of its employees. MSTL also owns Eglinton Experiences Limited, a small campground and accommodation service on the Milford Road. Governance is provided by a board of directors, with the two main shareholders being RealNZ and Southern Discoveries who operate out of Milford Sound.
