Party Warehouse are the South Island’s leading party and event hire company. Party Warehouse specialises in supplying marquees and event equipment to parties, weddings, corporate events and festivals throughout Canterbury. Established in 2001, Party Warehouse is a family owned and operated company with a wealth of knowledge and experience in providing quality equipment and excellent service.

In 2013 the owners of Party Warehouse identified a gap in the market for quality, reliable portable toilet hire and servicing and created Hire King to fill that gap. Hire King now provides portable toilets, fencing and general hire equipment to the construction and event industries throughout the South Island, with branches in Christchurch and Central Otago.

The two companies are run separately but work closely together, often providing a one stop shop for all event hire needs. As organisations that rely heavily on road transport to meet our customers’ needs, we recognise we contribute to carbon emissions and wish to take action to reduce these where possible. Being part of the Toitū carbonzero Programme has helped us identify areas we can improve, and we are looking forward to implementing these changes
