Overview

Industry

Transportation

HWR Group is a family-owned business based in Invercargill predominantly involved in the Transport industry with multiple subsidiary companies. The Group employs approximately 2,350 staff. The transport entities are grouped as concrete, quarrying, and rural and specialised transport operational throughout NZ. Petroleum supply and delivery services are provided within NZ and Victoria, Australia. Contracting services are provided in the southern regions of the South Island. The inventory identifies the significant emission contributors within the Group and by subsidiary. This provides focus to implement emission-reducing activities and adoption of new and emerging innovations in transport, equipment and other emission-oriented solutions. This will, in time, extend to supply chain. We intend to use this information to ensure we meet emission obligations both short-term and long-term.
