Islands Energy Group (IEG) is the incumbent natural gas and LPG supply and distribution business on the islands of Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man. It owns the gas distribution network infrastructure on each island and provides a complete gas solutions for its c. 40,000 customers. As well as being the provider of vital energy source for the islands, it is also a key part of the energy transition through the conversion of oil customers to gas.
IEG's principal business is the supply of LPG to Guernsey and Jersey, and natural gas and LPG to the Isle of Man (IOM), through the input of gas to the Channel Islands and the IOM. The company has limited companies in each island and under the Board control.
In addition to supplying gas to customers, IEG offers a range of gas and energy management-related services to its commercial and domestic customers.
