Industry

Construction

JFC is a market leading infrastructure and civil construction company. Since 1968, our brand has been behind some of New Zealand's most high-profile streetscape, earthworks, and civils projects. Our experienced personnel, assisted by 100% owned, in-house resources consistently deliver high-quality projects on-time, to specification, and on-budget. We have comprehensive environmental and sustainability policies that seek to protect and enhance both our current environment, and that of the future. We aspire to be carbonzero within the next three years. Urgent action is needed to combat climate change and its impacts. By identifying our carbon emission footprint, we allow ourselves opportunity to identify key emission sources and implement initiatives to reduce emissions. Internally, we strive to educate and raise awareness of climate change impacts, mitigation, and adaptation within our workforce.

In the absence of industry-led targets we align with the targets set by Paris Agreement. We commit to reducing our emissions intensity by 5% over the next 5 years, and by 50% by 2050.
