Locala Community Partnerships C.I.C is a not-for-profit and colleague-owned social enterprise that takes pride in delivering various NHS community healthcare services to residents in Kirklees, Calderdale, Bradford, Stockport, and Tameside. Established in 2011, the organisation assumed responsibility for NHS community healthcare services previously managed by Kirklees Primary Care Trust.
Locala collaborates with GPs, social services, other local NHS entities, and municipal authorities to ensure a cohesive approach to care and support. The primary aim is to have a tangible, positive impact on the communities served by providing sustainable, high-quality care.
At Locala Health & Wellbeing, the organisation aspires to position itself as one of the most environmentally conscious healthcare providers in the UK. This vision entails integrating sustainability into the core of the organization and all its activities, reflecting a commitment to a greener and more responsible approach to healthcare.
